Marianne and Elinor Dashwood find themselves in a perilous position when their father passes away, leaving them, their mother and younger sister destitute and forced to find a new home. Marianne Dashwood soon falls in love with the handsome Willoughby, who literally sweeps her off her feet. But Willoughby harbors a few secrets.
